The UVY-Combo protects people from infectious diseases in high risk environments in sectors like health, education, service and food production.

This unique model allows the user to disinfect high-touch objects without chemicals using UV-C radiation, which has been scientifically proven to kill and deactivate microbiological pathogens, including the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID) virus, responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.

In air purifier mode, the UVY-Combo removes and disinfects microscopic aerosols suspended in the air, which have been scientifically identified as the main cause for COVID virus transmission.

Product Specifications:

Disinfection Chamber

  • 14 UV-C germicidal lamps ensure high-intensity UV-C radiation coming from all angles reaches all sides of the objects.
  • 6 pure quartz glass trays (9 x 16 inches) to place objects on. 2 trays in fixed positions, other 4 in adjustable positions.
  • Trays on pull-out rack assembly for easy loading and unloading.

Air Purifier Operation

  • Two high efficiency filters capture > 95% of 0.3 micron particles.
    (Medical grade HEPA > 99.995% available)
  • Filter area > 180 ft2 ensures low pressure drop and long service life.
  • UV-C dose for air passing through chamber > ASHRAE recommended minimum of 1,500 uJ/cm2 for 99% inactivation of SAR-CoV-2 virus.

Fan Box

  • Two speed-adjustable fans providing total of > 500 CFM flow at < 60 dB noise (maximum flow > 700 CFM).
  • Air discharged through adjustable louvered grills on the front and rear.
  • Fan unit can be operated with 'front' outlets facing from front or rear.

Control Features

  • Count-down timer that controls disinfection cycle, with PAUSE function.
  • Disinfector OR air purifier mode switch.
  • Indicator lights to confirm proper operation of UV-C lamps.
  • Safety switch on door that turns off lamps and fans if door is open.
